Reinterpreted melting glaciers, recall of traces, the many traces that we as humans have left on the natural environment.
Enclosing the viewer into a cocoon on ice, and at the same time opening towards the plaza, the installation is going to offer the viewer the possibility of experiencing both the inside and the outside of a glacier.
Mirrored floor mimicking the ocean’s water, together with splashes of blue inspired by the brand’s culture, offers an in-depth atmosphere, where the gigantic installation suggests the audience, the true nature, and scale of our impact on the planet.
If from the outside everything looks balanced, on the inside bits of plastic attached to the side walls recall a discovery that a US team of scientists found during an expedition to the Arctic. Microplastic has been found in the ice cores drilled in the Arctic, underscoring the threat the growing form of pollution poses to marine life even in the remotest waters on the planet.
