The Samsung Galaxy Unveil event, held at the captivating Mina Museum in Bucharest, Romania, brought the future of mobile technology to life, pushing boundaries and redefining possibilities. With MSL- The practice, Leo Burnett, One Night Gallery, and Skyline production house, we turned an ordinary launching event into an extraordinary memory.

A new chapter in mobile technology unfolded with the announcement of Samsung’s fifth generation of Galaxy foldables: the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5. These cutting-edge devices, presented against the backdrop of the historic Fort Immersive Museum, reimagined the smartphone experience. With sleek, compact designs and industry-leading form factors, they offered unrivaled performance and customization options.

Unleashing Creativity with Color

The event design was meticulously crafted to embody the transition from the monochrome past to the vibrant future. At the beginning of the event, the ambiance was enveloped in black and white, echoing the anticipation of discovery. After the Galaxy Z devices were revealed in the immersive room, the entire event burst into a symphony of color, accompanied by an orchestra and mesmerizing Deliric performance.

Interactive Engagement

The guests were invited to explore the devices intimately, while the installations were designed to showcase the devices’ capabilities. The installation dedicated to Flip5 phones drew inspiration from their unique display angles and formed a composition of four oversized phones, infused with colored brand hues, mixed screens, and mirrors for a captivating effect. Before the immersive reveal, it contained random b&w visuals on the screens while after, the activation became interactive in a splash of colour. Hostes took images using the flip phone which was displayed in real-time on the installation’s screen the public became part of the installation.

The installations also delved into playfulness. An engaging gaming area within the fold phone installation allowed guests to experience the phones’ potential in a relaxed setting. Another activation, dedicated to the Galaxy Z Fold5, was an artistic composition showcasing the foldable design’s angles. Attendees were encouraged to capture unique angles of themselves, merging artistry with technology.

The Angle of Innovation

The installation’s display area, designed to mimic the phones’ angles, invited attendees to explore the devices in detail. Arches mirrored the devices’ proportions and introduced belt lights that illuminated every curve, offering an intimate and detailed examination of the devices’ design.

The Samsung Galaxy Unveil event at Mina Museum embodied a fusion of innovation, technology, and artistry. The immersive room, the transformation from monochrome to color, and the interactive installations reflected the event’s commitment to pushing boundaries and crafting a future shaped by technology’s boundless potential.
