Breathe
‘The clouds are always improvising, but the artist is the wind’.
The installation aims to create an impersonation environment of what heaven looks like in the Mongolian culture, which is the core of the 1436 luxury cashmere brand. A temple-like popup shows reverence and deep respect towards nature and life in general.
Inspired by the moving wind on the open prairie, the pop-up is a composition that integrates the freedom and the softness of airflow. Organic shapes remind the viewer of the living movement and divide the pop-up into multiple retail spaces from commercial use to intimate, introspective areas.
To emphasize the Mongolian scenery, and beliefs, the installation contains the constantly changing landscape of the prairie, with sheep, clouds, houses & road representations, softly stitched on the surface of the semi-transparent organic drapes that are slowly rotating.
The soft movement of the installation generates a meditative atmosphere, a translucid temple of the natural environment that moves freely and evolves relentlessly, leaving the public lightweight and in a state of tranquility.
